Powerful Woman Robin Wilson To Be Interviewed Sept. 10 at Success In The City Event

The networking group Success In The City is pleased to announce that on September 10, 2008, CEO Cynthia de Lorenzi will interview one of the 50 most powerful women in New York, Robin Wilson,* CEO of Robin Wilson Home. On Sept. 10, Ms. Wilson will be visiting Washington, DC, to be the featured guest at “CEO Chick Chat” to share her personal life story and journey to phenomenal success. The event runs from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Robin Wilson Home, headquartered in New York City, is a design, home and lifestyle company that focuses on eco-friendly living. With projects ranging from 400-square-foot Manhattan studio apartments to sprawling 8,000-square-foot suburban homes, to her line of eco-decor products under her Robin's Nest brand, Robin Wilson has a reputation for handling everything for the home.

Notable projects include the renovation of the Harlem office of President Clinton in 2004, the Esquire “Ultimate Bachelor Apartment” in 2007, and the 2008 Good Housekeeping LEED-certified show house, among others. Ms. Wilson has appeared on many TV shows (PBS, HGTV, CNN, CBS, ABC and NBC, FOX Business) and has been featured in several national publications (O at Home, The Wall Street Journal, the New York Daily News, Interior Design Magazine and The Chicago Tribune).

Ms. Wilson has served on the boards of numerous philanthropic organizations including the Boston Symphony Orchestra and YWCA. She holds an MS from New York University and is an affiliate member of the International Interior Design Association.

Location: The event will be held simultaneously at the DC as well as the Tysons Corner location of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. Ms. Wilson will appear live at 2300 N Street, NW Washington, DC, and a video feed will be shown at 1650 Tysons Blvd., McLean, VA, 14th floor. Fee includes continental breakfast.
